Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Lincoln, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide all material and labor for the removal of all No. 6 fuel oil from the existing 85,000 gallon fuel oil storage tank as well as removal and disposal of insulation and jacketing from tank roof and wall along with tank heat exchanger and other appurtenances. New tank vents and piping connections as well as painting tank roof (Additive Alternate), tank leak detection and No. 2 fuel oil unloading station are included. Other work includes demolition and removal of all existing No. 6 fuel oil piping, pumps, heater set and installation of new No. 2 fuel oil pump set, piping and wiring so that once existing oil storage tank is refilled with No. 2 fuel oil, Owner will be able to unload, store and transport No. 2 fuel oil to the boilers in the East Campus Utility Plant.
