The County has rejected all bids at this time Bartow County is accepting sealed bids for the construction of Landfill Leachate Lift Station - S.R. 294 Emerson Msw Landfill Phase 2. The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary construct complete in place and ready to operate a pump station in an existing leachate collection wet well, including the installation of a submersible sewage pump and necessary appurtenances, replacement of the existing wet well cover, construction of a valve vault, installation approximately 2,400 LF of dual-contained forcemain, and the installation and maintenance of erosion control measures throughout construction. The Project will be funded by Local Funds. Payment for the Work will be made on the basis of Contractor's periodic Applications-for-Payment processed by the Engineer. The BIDDING DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations: Bartow County Solid Waste Department, 135 West Cherokee Ave, Suite 251, Cartersville, GA 30120 (OWNER). Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or other security authorized by law, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid. All bonds must be signed or countersigned by a Georgia Resident Agent. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids, during which time the bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities. If an award is made, the award will be made to the qualified Bidder whose Total Base Bid is lowest and responsive.
