Proposals are being requested to perform evaluation, survey, design, permitting, and construction services for the Southbridge Drainage Ditch Project. The proposed project will include reviewing previous drainage studies for the Southbridge Industrial Park and completing the design and survey for a drainage ditch from approximately Andrew Avenue on the east to the Missouri River on the west. This project will include multiple acquisition plats, meetings with adjacent property owners and City Staff, coordinating with multiple State and Federal Government permitting and financing agencies, completing and seeing the project through the design, bid, and construction phases. Consultant services will be funded by the City of Sioux City under CIP Project Number 549-002, Southbridge Drainage Ditch. Construction will be funded with both the City of Sioux City funds and Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding. The project budget, including survey, design, inspection and construction is $4,570,000; maximum $4,000,000 in CARES Act funding.
