This Project includes, but is not limited to construction of a new 18,000 SF pre-engineered structure for use as a transit & fleet maintenance facility and support offices with an add alternate for the construction of an adjacent 15,000 SF pre-engineered structure for use as a Parks & Recreation department vehicle & equipment maintenance facility and support spaces. Sitework includes, but is not limited to the following: clearing & grubbing, excavation, subgrade modification, trenching, site grading, building pad, paved drives, paved parking, pedestrian paving, construction of new utilities, site lighting, storm drainage structures, site & traffic control signage, pre-engineered shed structures, landscaping, irrigation, chain link fencing and motorized gates with access controls. Building construction includes, but is not limited to: concrete foundations, termite pretreatment, concrete floor slabs cast in place concrete walls, pre-engineered structures, metal framing and interior partitions, suspended acoustical ceilings, prefinished metal manel cladding, standing seam metal roofing, hollow metal doors & frames, wood doors, door hardware, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, electrical systems, low voltage systems, access control, fire alarm, fire sprinkler and CCTV system. Bidders attention is particularly called to the utilization of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding for this project. This project will be subject to all applicable regulations from the granting agency. The City Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids. Please let me know if you plan on being represented at this meeting on 9/10/20 – if so, please send no more than one representative to the meeting so that we can accommodate all interested parties and maintain social distancing guidelines. Attendance is required for general contractors who plan to bid the project, but subcontractor attendance is not mandatory. For any parties that do attend, masks / face coverings will be required for attendance to the meeting. In the event that this room will not hold all the planned attendees, we will move the meeting into a larger room to accommodate the meeting.
