Site work and paving for a road / highway in Norman, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Questions related to this contract will be answered up to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding all local conditions. For information concerning the proposed work, or the scheduled Pre-bid Conference, contact Tim Miles, P.E., Capital Projects Manager for OWNER, at (405) 366-5454. The Base Bid is an Urban roadway widening and reconstruction project approximately 3,400 feet in length consisting of cold milling, asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, subgrade stabilization, drainage improvements, water line installation, sidewalk and other miscellaneous items associated with the work on Alameda Street between Ridge Lake Drive and 36th Avenue SE. Add Alternate No. 1 is for a tied Rural roadway reconstruction project with shoulders approximately 6,000 feet in length consisting of cold milling, subgrade stabilization, drainage improvements and other miscellaneous items associated with the work on Alameda Street from 36th Avenue SE to east of 48th Avenue SE. Add Alternate No.1 includes all work other than the asphalt pavement for this segment of roadway. Add Alternate No. 2 is for the asphalt pavement component of the project described above in Add Alternate No. 1. THIS PROJECT WILL HAVE A DELAYED START DATE OF TUESDAY, MARCH 1, 2022, TO ALLOW FOR UTILITY RELOCATIONS TO BE COMPLETED.
