The Base Bid will include demolition and removal of the existing ball field lighting system and installation of a new baseball field lighting system, also included is Mobilization/Demobilization and all materials and labor to complete the project. The Project, which is funded from Town budgeted funds and a federal Land and Water Conservation Fund grant will be constructed in up to one (1) contract division. In general, the work consists of providing all labor and materials to complete the renovation of the lighting system at the Leonard Park Baseball Field. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid with satisfactory corporate surety or by a certified check on a solvent bank. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Bid. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. All bids received shall remain valid and in force for 60 calendar days after the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid, which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
