Bidders must provide a bid bond by an admitted surety on the District provided form, cash, or cashier's or certified check payable to District equal to 10% of the total base bid price and all allowances guaranteeing Bidder will enter into a contract with District within seven calendar days (cds) after the Notice of Award date. Bidder awarded Contract must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. The successful Bidder may substitute securities pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22300. The Contractor and its Subcontractors shall pay all workers not less than the general prevailing wage rate as determined by the DIR for work performed and Project locality.(Labor Code 1770, et seq.) Prevailing wage rates are available from the District or at website. This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR (Labor Code 1771.4) and California Code of Regulations, Title 8. The Contractor and its Subcontractors shall furnish electronic certified payroll records to the Labor Commissioner weekly and within 10 cds of the District's or the Labor Commissioner's request.
