Original solicitation is referenced below, for historical purposes: The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting responses from qualified construction managers/general contractors for the performance of Construction Manager at Risk services for the Silver Springs Recreation Center Renovation, located at 1951 Silver Springs Pkwy, Henderson, Nevada 89074. Pre-construction services shall include review of existing site and building conditions, constructability reviews, construction cost estimates, advice, project analysis and feedback regarding materials, methods, systems, schedule, labor and other conditions affecting construction and subcontractor selection for development and construction of the Project. Anticipated scope of construction to be evaluated may include: site modifications to allow for relocation of main entry and drop off location, partial demolition of the existing building, new construction to provide for pool locker rooms, guard shack rooms, multipurpose space and classrooms, a fitness center, administrative offices and infrastructure as needed. Additional potential scope may include painting of the interior and exterior of the building, hallway flooring replacement, select renovation of existing space. The City will work with the selected CMAR and the awarded Architect of Record to determine base scope plus bid alternatives within the City's construction budget.
