Furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to repair, slurry seal, and add pavement markings, as indicated, to the ten (10) sites listed in Exhibit D, Attachment I, Project Manual, Technical Provisions, Site Locations, within VARIOUS STATE PARK AND STATE BEACH LOCATIONS in Santa Cruz County and San Mateo County, California, complete and in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore and such addenda thereto as may be issued prior to bid opening date. License required: A or C-12 One Year from Notice to Proceed Contract Performance Period: Ninety (90) Calendar Days from Formal Start Work Date A five percent (5%) bid preference is available to a non-small business proposing firms claiming twenty-five percent (25%) California certified small business subcontractor participation. If claiming the non-small business subcontractor preference, follow the directions and fill out the "Small Business Subcontractor Participation Worksheet" (DPR 85) which is included in the Bid Forms. Proposers claiming the five percent (5%) preference must commit to subcontract at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the net bid price with one or more California certified small businesses. Completed certification applications and required support documents must be submitted to the office of Small Business and DVBE Services (OSDS) no later than 5:00 p.m. on the bid due date, and the OSDS must be able to approve the application as submitted. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the SB Preference is applied first in the bid evaluation process. If the Low Bidder is claiming the SB Preference or the Non-Certified SB Preference, the 5% or $50,000 max is not calculated for any bidder. However, the DVBE Incentive would be calculated. This time includes ten (10) calendar days allowed for the contractor to begin work.
