Renovation of a mixed-use development in Youngstown, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and transportation facility.
This contract is subject to the requirements of Title 49, CFR Part 26, Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Financial Assistance Programs. WRTA's overall goal for DBE participation is 1.74%. A contract goal of 1.74% participation has been established for this procurement. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of five (5%) of the amount bid or a bid bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) of the amount bid, such check or bid bond shall be made payable to Western Reserve Transit Authority and to be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and a contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured. The successful bidder will be required to meet construction bonding requirements as described within bid documents. WRTA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
