furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of Leveling and Resurfacing improvements to three (3) City Streets located in the City of Nashville, Georgia. All improvements will be funded by the City of Nashville's Fiscal Year 2020 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) as awarded from the Georgia Department of Transportation and from other City funds as required The Scope of Work Includes: Leveling and Resurfacing Improvements to Three (3) City Streets. South Bartow Street, Jefferson Street, and Clark Drive All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Nashville in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Nashville. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
