Renovation of a mixed-use development in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Each bid over $500,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond execute Conference Location Kent County Health Department 700 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, MI 49503a Each contract over $50,000 must be accompanied by a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each payable to the Owner (County of Kent) and each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the funding agency, for the faithful performance of the contract SCOPE Specifications are included herein. Drawings are attached in the Solicitation. The purpose of the work is to upgrade existing access control systems from DSX to Vanderbilt access control systems to be integrated into Kent County's existing Vanderbilt enterprise software database, that is self-managed by Kent County staff, as indicated on the drawings and described in the specifications herein. The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting bids to update the access control systems at the Kent County Courthouse located at 180 Ottawa Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 and the Kent County Health Department located at 700 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Work for this project to begin in 2021. The summary of work for this project is to upgrade existing access control system from Lenel to Vanderbilt access control system to be integrated into Kent County's existing Vanderbilt enterprise software database, that is self-managed by Kent County staff. The plans that have been made available by Kent County will show locations of all readers, duress alarms, door contacts, etc. Will be reusing all existing wiring, readers, duress alarms, door contacts, etc unless existing found not to be working properly. To Kent County's knowledge all are working currently. As noted at the end of this specification, Soulard Technology will be doing all programming required including alarm graphic mapping for Vanderbilt equipment into existing Vanderbilt access control database and will conduct testing upon completion with successful bidder. The card reader count for each location is as follows: There are 71 readers in the Health Department. There are 90 readers in the Courthouse.
