Scope of Work includes construction of approximately 2,473 linear feet of 12-inch and 15,165 linear feet of 16-inch water transmission lines by trenchless and open-cut methods, construction of water plant connection facilities (5 district water plants), construction of disinfection (chloramination) facilities (6 district water plants) and conversion of disinfection facilities (2 district water plants). Three individual alignments located in North West Harris County, Keymap Grids 369C, 369F, 369G, 369K, 369L, 369P, and 369Q. Estimate: $8,000,000 to $10,000,000 Bidders may submit questions online through online. A bid bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID must accompany each BID as a guarantee that the Successful Bidder will enter into a proper Contract and execute Bonds and Guaranties on the forms provided within eight (8) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the CONTRACTOR. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation for Bids is/are expected to be funded in part by a loan or grant from the Texas Water Development Board. Neither the state of Texas, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees are or will be a party to this Invitation for Bids or any resulting contract. CONTRACTOR shall furnish Construction Performance Bond, Payment Bond and an OneYear Maintenance Bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price, as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of CONTRACTOR's obligations under the Contract Documents. BIDDER agrees to begin work promptly after written Notice to Proceed is given by OWNER and will substantially complete the Work within 370 days in accordance with Paragraph 15.5 of the General Conditions and will complete the Work and be ready for final payment within 400 days after the date of the written Notice to Proceed in accordance with Paragraph 15.9 of the General Conditions.
