2.68 mi of roadway reconstruction and widening, interchange reconfiguration including hot mix asphalt and concrete pavements, bridge rehabilitation, replacement of four bridges and one culvert, concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk and ramps, traffic signal upgrades, signing, freeway lighting, noise wall construction and pavement markings on I-94 from Lover's Lane to Sprinkle Road in the the cities of Kalamazoo and Portage, Kalamazoo County. This project includes two 5 year materials and workmanship Net classification required for this project is 90150 Fa or Comb/Jt. 90150 B, Ea Control Sec Job No Federal No NH 39022 105886A 21A0256 NH 39022 105885A 21A0255 In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes subclassifications of B, Ea and Fa. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in those subclassifications it must use prequalified subcontractors. Those subcontractors must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder MDOT - 2102 035 - Roadway Reconstruction and Widening, Bridge Rehabilitation, Replacement of Four Bridge and One Culvert, Sidewalk and Ramp, Traffic Signal Upgrade, Signing, Freeway Lighting on I-94 MBE (5.9%), WBE (6.9%), DBE (7%)
