Renovation of a residential development in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Integrated Services of Kalamazoo (ISK) is soliciting vendor information for Renovations for 615 E. Crosstown Parkway and 2030 Portage Street sites in Kalamazoo, MI. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. ISK is requesting information from providers who are able to provide renovation services. Location 1: 2030 Portage Street, Kalamazoo Floor 1: Approximately 750 sf; comprises the expansion of the existing Client Reception/checkin area into an adjacent meeting room and includes a secure check-in office (Level 2 glazing and ballistic shielding at two check-in stations) subdividing the remainder of the meeting room into two staff offices Floor 2: Approximately 525 sf; includes the demo of one hard walled office and the removal of demountable work station type offices (by owner) to develop four new hard walled staff offices For both areas existing floor, wall and ceiling finishes/systems shall remain as possible- existing lighting, mechanical system (diffusers, ductwork, thermostats, etc.), sprinklers, electrical/data receptacles and light switch/controls shall remain and be relocated as necessary (and added to) as indicated on the drawings to accommodate the new layout. New finish materials that may be required shall match existing adjacent areas, new carpet is specified for the Reception Area on Floor 1 and if required for areas identified on Floor 2 (color selected by owner from standard available product lines) on drawings. Location 2: 615 E Crosstown Parkway, Kalamazoo Ground Floor: Approximately 350 sf; encompasses opening the staff areas of the existing check-in stations by the removal and reconfiguration of existing acrylic screens, removal of sliding doors on the public side (2) and new cased openings in existing gypsum board walls between staff. With the installation of Level 2 glazing above counter top and ballistic shielding below counter top (5 stations) and associated gypsum construction to accommodate this. Finishes shall remain, any required new finishes shall match adjacent, owner has attic stock of floor tile as needed.
