Quotations will only be accepted General Contractors who have been prequalified as per the Board's Request for Supplier Qualifications #12-17 General Contractors. (1) RFQ 21-19A Boiler and Fire Alarm Replacement at Rideau Public School (9 Dundas St, Kingston, ON): The project includes removal of the existing boiler plant including two cast iron boilers, pumps, piping, glycol loop heat exchanger, vents and associated devices and accessories. Replace with new boiler plant including six new condensing boilers, pumps, piping, glycol loop heat exchanger, vents and associated devices and accessories. Prior to removals the system flow rates will be measured, balancing valve positions recorded, and the entire system will be emptied and flushed. The existing building automation system will be upgraded to the Schneider EcoStruxure platform including new wiring, controllers, valves, actuators, sensors, and other devices. Additionally, the existing fire alarm control panel and separate annunciator panel will be removed and replaced with new. Provide full building fire alarm verification and full building audibility tests. Requirement of a building permit is only anticipated for the fire alarm replacement portion of the project. (2) RFQ 21-19B Boiler Replacement at WJ Holsgrove Public School (1414 Sproule St, Kingston, ON): The scope of this project includes the demolition of two cast iron sectional boilers, chimneys, and pumps.
