As of March 4 2021project was awarded to Reece Construction and the projects estimated dates are 3/15-9/30 of 2021. Douglas County Project 2017-53 consists of Removal of Existing Structure (8x18 Steel Stringer Culvert w/ Concrete Deck and Stone Abutments), Grading, Bridge Construction (24-32-24 RCSH Span Bridge w/ 26 Roadway), Piling, Slope Protection, Aggregate Base (AB-3), HMA-Base, HMA-Surfacing, Guardrail, Seeding, and Traffic Control. Douglas County Project 2017-53 is located on N900 Road approximately 8 miles southwest of Lawrence, KS. Contract Documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related shipping charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier's checks shall be made payable to site. The undersigned agrees to execute a contract for the proposed work within twenty-one (21) days after notice of the award of the Contract and to complete the work, if the proposal is accepted, within Seventy-Nine (79) working days. The earliest anticipated date for the "Notice to Proceed" is March 15, 2021. The latest anticipated date for the "Notice to Proceed" is April 26, 2021.
