Renovation of a fire / police facility in Palmer, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified contractors to make various repairs at seven Public Safety Buildings. This project is partially funded by a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Grant DR-4413 Project Worksheet (PW) 227. See the Bid Document and attachments for detail. Questions Due Date: Feb 15th 2021, 5:00 PM AKST Persons needing accommodation in order to participate should contact the borough ADA coordinator at (907) 861-8404 The work shall begin no later than ten days after a Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. Substantial Completion is set at July 10, 2021, with Final Completion of July 23, 2021. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, permits, miscellaneous supplies and incidentals. For interior sheetrock and concrete repairs, the contractor will move furniture as required to perform all work. The users of the facilities will be responsible for moving personal items and electronic equipment. In the garage bays, coordinate with the station users to move vehicles. Stations are active facilities and the work shall be coordinated to accommodate emergency response operations.
