Purpose of the Solicitation: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified contractors to supply labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to improve approximately 4,990 linear feet of Meadow Lakes Loop and 1,770 linear feet of Meadow Lakes Spur. The project will rehabilitate and upgrade the existing roads to MSB residential collector standards. This project will involve, but is not limited to, clearing and grubbing, excavation, import and placement of borrow material, import and placement of aggregate base course, paving, installation of drainage culverts, and installation of signs. Additional items include topsoil and seeding. The additive alternate work consists of rehabilitating and upgrading sections of Meadow Lakes Loop subject to ROW permitting and acquisition.
