Renovation of a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the construction of 3.0 MGD Wastewater Treatment Plant UV Replacement. The work includes but is not limited to mobilization, bonds and insurance; demolition of existing ultraviolet disinfection modules and power distribution centers; providing and installing new ultraviolet disinfection equipment and associated components; installation of proposed power distribution center and concrete pad; installation of three (3) channel-mounted slide gates with electric actuators; installation of three (3) flush-mounted slide gates with electric actuators; grouting existing concrete channels; system bypassing necessary to complete the work; modifications to existing grating to accommodate proposed equipment; MCC modifications; air piping modifications; and associated plant piping, valves, fittings, coatings and supports; seeding and site restoration; all required electrical and instrumentation work; and all incidental components as shown on the construction drawings and specified in the contract documents necessary for a complete and operational system.
