***As of April 14, 2021 project has not been awarded and has been cancelled. Gym bleacher replacement for Boiling Springs Middle School (4801 Hwy 9, Inman, SC 29349). Spartanburg School District Two (hereinafter, "the District") invites all qualified providers to submit sealed bids for gym bleacher replacement for Boiling Springs Middle School, complying with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions for this solicitation. Spartanburg County School District 2 is located in the northwestern part of Spartanburg County, and includes the Town of Chesnee and the communities of Boiling Springs, Fingerville, and Mayo. A small portion of the District is located in Cherokee County. The District encompasses a land area of approximately 134 square miles. The District is made up of 2 high schools, 3 middle schools, 1 intermediate school, and 8 elementary schools. The District currently has an annual budget of over $89 million, and over 10,000 students including pre-K, and employs approximately 1,250 employees. Bleachers should be 9 rows high x 89'0' long with integral power, aisles, aisle steps, auto-rotating aisle handrails, non-slip treads, selfstoring end rails, clear urethane finished a/c grade plywood decking, 9 5/8 row rise, 22' row spacing, wall attached. INITIAL CONTRACT PERIOD: To begin upon contract award through completion of project, by June 30, 2021.
