Landscape maintenance at Lake Bowen Park and Lake Blalock Park for Spartanburg Water System. The Spartanburg Water System is a political subdivision of the City of Spartanburg, overseen by the Commission of Public Works of the City of Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Owner is committed to the intentional utilization of Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) in all areas of procurement. In keeping with this commitment, the Owner encourages participation from firms who are either minority firms or who have a minority partner. In addition to the use of a minority partner, if any, the Owner encourages the use of MWBE subcontractors, suppliers or vendors for these anticipated opportunities. Therefore, as a part of your response to this bid This contract will be in effect for a twelve (12) month term. All pricing provided in bid must remain unchanged during the course of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to extend this contract annually provided the vendor's performance is acceptable to the Owner and price structure remains unchanged. The contract extensions will not exceed two (2) twelve (12) month terms in addition to the original twelve (12) month term. Upon ten (10) days written notice to the Vendor, the Owner reserves the right to terminate the contract at any such time the Vendor is not performing the duties or complying with the terms and conditions of the specifications. The Vendor may not assign their obligation of this contract to another firm Anticipated Award June 27, 2024 Start date of contract September 1, 2024 Final decision and selection rests solely with the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to select any or none of the submitting suppliers if it is in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to waive any informality in responses received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Owner. Please be advised that the Owner considers responses to this request by competing firms as purely voluntary, and the Owner is under no financial obligation to said firms regarding the contents of their response, or in the preparation of the same.
