The major items of work for both bridges include partial depth deck removal and replacement. Funding Contract: FHWA #BHS-Z933 (003), LA10034 This project is a Federal Aid project and has a fourteen percent (14%) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier check or surety bonds in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such a contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Stevens County. All original proposals must be delivered to the specified place at or before the specified time.
