Site work for a water / sewer project in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of replacement of segments of the existing water distribution system and an existing sanitary sewer force main. The project includes installation of 1,660 LF of 8-inch water main to be installed using trenchless and trenched methods (depending on location), installation of 514 LF of 6-inch sanitary sewer force main to be installed using trenchless and trenched methods (depending on location), installation of 225 LF of insulated water main with heat tracing to be supported on rollers below an existing cantilever sidewalk (pipe crossing), disconnection of existing and connection of new force main to an existing pump station valve vault, connection of 14 residential services and 4 commercial services to new water mains, 450 SY of PCC/HMA roadway patching, & 175 SY of sidewalk, trail, driveway & curb/gutter pavement with minor curb and gutter and detectable warning placement. The project also includes erosion control and seeding of all disturbed areas.
