Renovation of a mixed-use development in Santa Cruz, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and laboratory facility.
Remove existing rooftop steam boiler from Sinsheimer Laboratories. Replace autoclaves and steam kettle units that include electrical steam generators. Alternate #1: 1. Remove all existing steam and condensate piping above T-bar ceilings in corridors, labs and ancillary rooms as indicated in drawings P2.1D & P2.2D, levels 1 thru 4. 2. Remove and reinstall existing T-bar ceiling tiles as required to facilitate removal of piping. Replace any damaged tiles with new to match existing. 3. Remove steam and condensate pipe above gypsum board ceiling over sterilizer rooms 137B, 240, 340 & 441. Remove gypsum board ceiling sections as for pipe removal and patch/repair/paint in accordance with architectural specifications. Furnish & install sterilizer ST-1B in room 137B including all required piping & electrical connections, mounting to floor, and start up.
