Site work for a water / sewer project in Masontown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Each bid shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to Borough of Masontown in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. This is Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rate Project All Bidders shall comply with the federal requirements for Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 88-352); the state requirements for Pennsylvania Steel Products Act (No. 178-3); and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, as amended. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. All bids shall remain irrevocable for Sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening. The construction of approximately 3,500 linear feet of waterline of various sizes, locations (N. Water Street & N. First St.) and materials with AWWA C900 DR18 PC235 & SDR17 water piping to include all valves, service connections, bituminous pavement restoration and appurtenant items of construction.
