Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Klamath County Board of Commissioners invite written sealed bids for work attendant to 2021 Klamath Falls Urban Area ADA Ramps for the Department of Public Works. The work generally consists of removing and replacing existing sidewalk ramps by reconstructing approximately 2740 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 10,500 square feet of sidewalks, asphalt patching, and traffic control. The work is primarily located on Shasta Way between Arthur St and Patterson Street in Klamath County but includes ramps at other locations in the urban area. The engineers estimate for this project is $730,000 to $780,000. A surety bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Oregon, irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Klamath County Commissioners in the amount of 10% of the total bid must accompany the sealed bid. Bids submitted by facsimile transmission will not be accepted. At least ten (10) days prior to bid opening, all bidders must submit to Klamath County a Contractor's Prequalification Application, even if the contractor is already prequalified with the State of Oregon. The classes of work for this project are: AB, ACP, EART, MHA, TTC. (Most recent edition of Contractor's Prequalification Application form must be used). General Contractor is not required to be prequalified for Temporary Traffic Control if the subcontractor performing that portion of the Work is prequalified as such with Klamath County Public Works. All contractors and subcontractors performing work on this project must be licensed with the Construction Contractors Board in accordance with ORS Chapter 701. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of the bid will be required of the successful bidder. Klamath County reserves the right to waive informalities. All bids are subject to Oregon Law bid procedures. Upon notice of "intent to award", a (7) seven-day protest period is available for bidders to submit a written protest of such intent to award by Klamath County.
