It is the intent of Monroe County to establish a contract for Roofing Preventative Maintenance, Repair and Replacement Services. This contract shall consist in general of providing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials and supplies for roof repair services required in various buildings owned by the County. Preventative maintenance and inspection shall be performed twice a year in the spring and fall for all County owned buildings. All materials shall be itemized on each invoice and billed at five percent (5%) above the Contractors net cost. Each item must include a full description including manufacturer, stock number and unit price. The County reserves the right to audit the Contractors record to determine that the County is being charged no more than five percent (5%) of the Contractors net cost.The successful bidder shall procure, execute and deliver to the Owner and maintain at his own cost and expense a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material/Payment Bond each in the amount of the $50,000.00, of surety company approved by the Owner and authorized to do business in the State of New York as a surety. The security can be in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft, Standard Form of Irrevocable Letter of Credit or Bonds. Contract will start with the date of the contract award and run through February 28, 2022, with the option to renew the contract up to two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods with the mutual consent of both parties. All requests for bid clarification must be submitted in writing to the Buyer referenced above and received no later than noon. (12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, March 22, 2021. All questions will be answered and documented in writing as an Addendum to the Bid. These will be sent out to all Bidders who received the original Bid no later than Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
