To obtain the services of an electrical contractor with sufficient qualified licensed electricians who will provide the necessary expertise to: Ensure the proper operation of the City's Street Lighting System. To perform all necessary electrical work in conjunction with assigned City Street Projects. To provide the necessary expertise to address any unanticipated electrical needs during the contract period. LIGHTING SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The City of Rochester owns and maintains the streetlights in the City. The system consists of 28,500 lights on Residential & Arterial Streets, Parking Lots, Parks and Plazas. 1.2.1.120-volt series circuits primarily individually photo controlled. 1.2.2. There are approximately 10,600 luminaires with Smart photo controls (Nodes). 1.2.3 Light Source Types: 1.2.3.1 Approximately 34% High Pressure Sodium (HPS) and 64% LED. 1.2.3.2 The remaining balance consists of fluorescent, incandescent, induction and metal halide.
