General Contract (all trades). The door will be locked, but staff may be summoned via the doorbell at this location. Bids will be collected and stamped at time of receipt. Bids may also be submitted by mail, and will be opened if they have arrived at the address listed above prior to the date and time of the bid opening. Bids shall be considered by the Owner at a public hearing to be held: 1. Public Hearing Date: April 12, 2021. 2. Public Hearing Time: 5:30 PM, local time. 3. Location: Due to the recent mandates for gathers of no greater than (10) people, the public hearing will be conducted virtually. It is the intent of the Owner to award a contract to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder provided the bid has been submitted in accordance with the bidding requirements. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bid Security shall be submitted with each bid as security the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid and shall furnish after the award of contract corporate surety bond or bonds, acceptable to the owner, for the faithful performance of the contract in the amount equivalent to 100% of the amount of the contract. 1. Bid security shall be in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids.
