The Work generally consists of walkway, plaza with seating, irrigation, plantings and pedestrian lighting located at Riverfront Park 1 (west side of river) from 1 st Ave. to parking slab under Interstate 380. A pre-bid conference has not been scheduled for this Project. The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for 60 calendar days after the bids have been received and opened. Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid.
