As of February 20, 2024, construction of this project has commenced in January, 2024, and is expected to be completed in December, 2026. No further inquiries to be accepted. Newton-Conover City Schools shall have a verifiable ten percent (10%) goal for participation by minority businesses in the total value of work for which contracts are awarded. Bid security, in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid amount, shall be submitted with each bid. Separate Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Insurance in a form acceptable to the Owner in the amount of 100 percent of the contract cost, shall be required to be submitted prior to executing the work. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
