This RFQ is specific to the qualification of Respondents for Segments A1/2 and B1/2. The WHCRWA released an RFQ for construction services for Segments A, B, and C (excluding Segment B3) in March 2019 (the "Original RFQ") and qualified nine (9) Respondents in June 2019 based on the SOQs received. Segment C is currently under construction, but there have been delays with advertising Segments A1/2 and B1/2 for construction. Due to the amount of time that has transpired, the WHCRWA has elected to solicit responses from additional Respondents for the Segments A1/2 and B1/2 projects. This RFQ is specific to the qualification of Respondents to bid on the Segments A1/2 and B1/2 Construction Contracts. The project has been split into the following segments. Segment A1/2 is 10.7-miles long and may be split into two construction packages for bidding purposes, A1, 6.0- miles long, and A2, 4.7-miles long, with the option for contractors to bid either together or separately. Segment B1/2 is 10.1-miles long and may be split into Segments B1, 5.7-miles long, and B2, 4.6-miles long, with the contractor having the option to bid B1 and B2 together or separately. The WHCRWA reserves the right to bid projects together, or separately, at its option. Details of this work are provided in the Construction Drawings and Project Manual made available. This project is a part of the overall Surface Water Supply Project. The WHCRWA reserves the right to reject any and all SOQs, and/or to waive any and all irregularities and/or formalities in the SOQs. The WHCRWA will evaluate the sufficiency of all responses included in a Respondent's SOQ in its sole and complete discretion.
