SORTA is also seeking bids from qualified firms for unscheduled drain services (additional jetting, auguring, pumping etc.) on an as-needed at all of its facilities and properties. Bidders are asked to provide its service call rate, truck charge rate and regular hourly labor rate (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST/EDT Monday through Friday) for such services as part of their bid. In addition, bidders are asked to provide hourly labor rates for after-hours, holiday and emergency services. SORTA estimates the need for approximately twelve (12) unscheduled service calls per year. The successful bidder must arrive on-site within four hours of notification from SORTA for all regular hour and after-hours service calls that are not related to preventive maintenance and within one hour of notification for all emergency service calls. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
