Site work and paving for a civil project in Florence, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Meridian Road, Germann Road to State Rout 24, Roadway & Drainage Improvements Questions Due Date: May 4th 2021, 5:00 PM MST The project includes constructing a new roadway with drainage improvements to provide one travel lane in each direction as well as a two way left turn lane on Meridian Road between Germann Road and State Route 24. Germann Road will be widened asymmetrically on the north side of the roadway to accommodate westbound and eastbound left turn lanes. Pecos Road will be reconstructed for a distance of approximately 200-feet to connect into the Meridian Road improvements. This project also includes the microseal and restriping of 400-feet and 760-feet of Germann Road and Pecos Road respectively to accommodate lane transitions. In addition, an earthen channel and box culvert will convey runoff generated east of the project limits along the McKenzie Road and Willis Road alignments to an existing channel west of Meridian Road. Additional drainage improvements include numerous culvert arrays to convey regional drainage through the project site. A new 12-inch/24-inch water main and 24-inch sewer main will also be installed through the length of the project. This roadway will ultimately be maintained by the Town of Queen Creek. The proposed work is located on the Meridian Road alignment between Germann Road and the soon to be completed State Route 24/ Meridian Road traffic interchange, totaling approximately 7,300 linear feet. Meridian Road delineates the boundary between Pinal and Maricopa County and consists of short sections of existing dirt or asphaltic milling roadway that provides access to private residences. Improvements east of the section line are within unincorporated Pinal County. Improvements west of the section line are within unincorporated Maricopa County and the City of Mesa. The Germann Road intersection at the south end of the project falls within the Town of Queen Creek jurisdiction.
