Site work for a water / sewer project in Manchester, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 20, 2021, this project has been awarded to R.M. Piper Inc. for $725,690. It is expected to begin in mid September, 2021 and should be completed on late November, 2021. Rehabilitation of Massabesic Lake Dam consists of concrete repairs to the existing spillway, removal of existing concrete piers, installation of collapsible flashboards, raising of the existing left embankment and southern canal dike with new embankment fill, construction of a concrete parapet wall, raising of existing gate house wing walls, construction of a grouted riprap toe scour protection apron, and remediation of seepage areas and bulging stone masonry wall area. Only electronic copies of the bid documents will be made available to prequalified contactors. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in or reject any or all bids and to accept the bid that is deemed most favorable to the interest of the City of Manchester.
