Site work for a water / sewer project in Daphne, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All work required by the Daphne Utilities Board. Sally Sewer Line Repairs This project consists of: Cutting, removal of trees, re-align existing Sanitary Sewer lines on aerial supports, replace timber support structures, install megalug joint restraint harnesses. To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete original proposal forms found in the Invitation to Bid package. The specifications and all executed bid forms must be submitted in a sealed envelope. clearly marked, identifying the Contractor's license number. the Contractor's name and address, Daphne Utilities' name and address. the bid name and number, and the date of the bid opening. It shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder to assure receipt of the bid at Daphne Utilities prior to the published time for the bid opening. All Bidders must file with their bids either a cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank or a bid bond executed by a surety company duly authorized and qualified to make bonds in the State of Alabama and made payable to the Daphne Utilities in the amount of five (5 %) percent of the Contractor's bid but in no event more than $10,000, and shall have a current State of Alabama General Contractors License. Furthermore, any Contractor that desires to bid as prime Contractor must have at least one of the following major classifications of license per Section 230-X-.27 of the State of Alabama Licensing Board for Genera l Contractors Administrative Code: a) Highways and Streets b) Municipal and Utility c) Heavy and Rail Construction No bids will be considered unless the bidder, whether resident or non-resident of Alabama, is properly qualified to submit a proposal for this type of work in accordance with all applicable laws of the State of Alabama. Where applicable, this shall include evidence of holding a current license from the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama, as required by Chapter 8 of Title 34, of the Code of Alabama , 1975.
