Renovation of a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Work of the contract is for the construction of Improvements at Spears Road Regional Pump Station. This work includes, but is not limited to the installation of 36-inch water line inlet and discharge flow meter run and tie-in to existing lines, the installation of a water softening system, permanent caustic feed system, installation of actuators, upgrading the access road, installation of a utility trench system, repainting of ground storage tanks, repainting of facility gates, modifications to the existing chemical building and installation of bleach disinfection system, addition of ladder to booster pump and chemical buildings, sump pump and piping modifications, and additional work necessary to complete the work. The completed work shall not lack any part which can be reasonably implied as incidental for the proper and useful operation of the facility. This includes all items of equipment, labor, and materials, whether or not shown in the Contract Documents, where such items are required to fulfill the intent of the Contract, and all shall be in accordance with code requirements, standards of regulatory agencies, manufacturer's recommendations, and acceptable industry practice. Estimate: $5,500,000 - $6,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
