Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Bullhead City, Arizona. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Ramar Road is designed for storm water to flow along the shoulders. Currently, there is no curb and gutter along this portion of Ramar Rd east of SR95. This has resulted in the undermining of the asphalt and deteriorating the roadway. This project will consist of placing millings 15 feet on each side of the road. This will stabilize the shoulders and therefore less maintenance for staff. Curb and gutter will be installed in areas to control proper drainage. Staff started this project in March 2021 and will continue into Fiscal Year 2023. As of November 05, 2021, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2028 CIP. Design for this project is being completed in house. Information regarding the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released.
