Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Elrama, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Elrama Central Park Development Project includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a paved parking area, an open-air style pavilion with restrooms, a split rail fence, signage, and landscaping for the new Elrama Central Park. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to Union Township. Union Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the Project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. It is the intent to prescribe a complete project which the Contractor undertakes to do, in full compliance with the Drawings, Specifications, Proposal and the Contract, including the furnishing of all supervision, technical personnel, labor, materials, machinery, tools, appurtenances, equipment, transportation, utility services, and all other means required to construct and complete construction of a paved parking area, an open-air style pavilion with restrooms, a split rail fence, signage, and landscaping.
