**As of August 25, 2021, project has been awarded in the amount of $358,338.82. This project consists of road and drainage improvements to Riverwoods Drive and Bonneyman Road in Blackshear, Georgia. The road improvements include repairing failing base areas, milling the surface course, crack mitigation, widening and a new asphalt surface course. The drainage improvements include grading, reenforcing shoulders, installing stone check dams, rip rap and grassing. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. A cashiers or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. PERFORMANCE/ PAYMENT BONDS: The successful Bidder, if awarded this contract, will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. PAYMENT TERMS: The successful Bidder will receive monthly payments within 30 days after receipt and approval by the Owners Representative of a valid invoice for those services rendered. The county reserves the right to waive all technicalities, reject any or all bids and make the award in its best interest.
