Renovation of an educational facility in Blackshear, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Pierce County Board of Education is seeking proposals for labor and materials to install one metal storage building at Blackshear Elementary School, and one metal storage building at Midway Elementary School. Both sites will require a concrete slab to also be included in the bid price. Bids should include the pricing for both a 20' x 30' x 12' high building, and a 30' x 30' x 12' high building. The buildings will include 3 metal walls with one open wall to be attached and flashed to an existing brick wall at the school on the 30'side. A site visit is suggested, but not required. Information may also be picked up at the Board office at 840 East Main Street, Blackshear GA, 31516. General scope The Contractor is responsible for supplying at the job-site all material, equipment, and labor required to complete all work to install: o A 20' X 30' X 12' (High Side), OR A 30' X 30' X 12' (High Side), Single -Sloped Building with a 1/12 Roof Slope o Accessories to include: 24ga. GALVALUME Snap -Lock Standing Seam Panel Roof Panels Insulation in roof and walls 26ga. PAINTED R Panel Wall Sheets PAINTED Trim Gutter/ Downspouts ONE 8 x 8 Roll- Up Door with Standard Pull -Rope Operation ONE 3070 Personnel Door with Standard Hardware Anchor Bolts Designed for Building to be Embedded at Time of Pour Engineered Drawings Provided by Supplier 4" Concrete Building Foundation with extended 2' Ramp at roll-up door. o See attached 3 building sketches and 2 sitemap locations
