BIDDING CONTRACTORS MUST REACH OUT DIRECTLY TO THE ARCHITECT TO OBTAIN DOCUMENTS AND HAVE THEIR NAME LISTED ON THE FORMAL BID LIST. BIDDERS NOT LISTED ON THE FORMAL BID LIST WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Boyertown Borough Council is requesting separate proposals for General Construction, Plumbing Construction, Electrical Construction, and HVAC Construction for this project. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Borough of Boyertown or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance bond (100%) of the contract amount and payment bond or bonds. Boyertown Borough Council will follow the rules and regulations pursuant to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442), as amended August 9, 1963 (Act No. 342) and all its provisions. Bidders will be required to pay prevailing rate of wages for the Work as set forth in the Specifications or follow the link website. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60-days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of Boyertown Borough Council.
