Site work and paving for a civil project in Blackshear, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Scope of Work Includes: Street and Drainage Improvements to Satilla Trail, Pine Ridge Trail, Fox Squirrel Drive, Quail Trail, and Oakwood Bend in the Sandy Bottom Neighborhood. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Pierce County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Pierce County Board of Commissioners. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
