The Housing Authority of the City of Bridgeport d/b/a Park City Communities (PCC) is requesting sealed bids for P.T. Barnum Bldg. 8 Fire Restoration. This specification cover the proper and legal removal and disposal of all asbestos-containing roofing materials (ACM) and asbestos contaminated waste from the PT Barnum Housing Building Number 8 project site located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The abatement activities shall comply with all aspects of the contract documents and Federal, State and local requirements. The base bid includes the removal and disposal of all asbestos containing materials as identified herein, and on the architects drawings by workers meeting requirements of OSHA 1926.1101 for Class 1 and 2 work. The base bid will include the cost for removal and disposal of asbestos containing roofing materials. Work includes filing and permitting all necessary applications, notifications, requirements and fees; insurance; necessary design services; providing skilled, licensed and certified labor; materials; and equipment necessary for proper preparation, handling, removal and legal disposal of all asbestos-containing materials and asbestos contaminated waste from the subject building in accordance with all requirements of applicable federal,state and local regulations, these specifications and the contract drawings. The following materials and amounts are included in the base bid work.
