**As of March 14, 2022, project was awarded to Rupp-Rosebrock Inc., awarded amount is $562,425.30.** The project consists of constructing various park improvements including overlook structure, retaining wall, site grading, drainage, suite irrigation, electrical conduit and cabling, power service center, asphalt paved path, swings, benches, lighting, rain gardens, landscaping & plantings, and associated work. Bids for the said project must be signed and enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Administrator of the City of Waterville and marked Memorial Park & Parker Square Improvements-Phase 1. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or bank cashier's check payable to the City as a guarantee that if the work is awarded to the bidder, he will, within fifteen (15) days of the date of such award enter into a proper and acceptable contract, otherwise, said amount accompanying his bid will be forfeited to the City of Waterville, Ohio, as liquidation damages. Bids received after the scheduled Bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond or check, will neither be read nor considered. Bidders shall submit with their Bid the affidavit required under Ohio Revised Code Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Lucas County, Ohio. (Contract Page AC-1) The City of Waterville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the most favorable to the City. The City also reserves the right to add or subtract from the quantities shown in the proposal.
