Site work and paving for a road / highway in Manassas, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Manassas is soliciting Bids for the Dumfries Road Shared Use Path project in accordance with the plans and specifications. The period of the Contract shall be for ninety (90) calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and any extension as allowed in the specifications. The project is designed for a start to finish construction sequence. Separating this project into phases is not necessary. All work shall be completed as coordinated between the contractor and the Public Works Engineer and in accordance with the approved schedule. Work hours shall be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Weekend work allowable with granted permission from the City Manager's Office and the availability of the City inspector. Any tie in work shall be coordinated with the Public Works Engineer 10 construction days in advance of work to be performed. Some transitional work will be required for the storm sewer and final paving work.
