SCOPE OF CONTRACT: This is a "Requirements" type contract for Contract to provide all necessary labor, parts, tools, materials, equipment, delivery, and resources as may be required to provide a ready source for the procurement of Sealed Lead Acid Batteries on an "as needed" basis and Preventive Maintenance Services on an "as needed" basis as listed in the Quick Quote, in accordance with the specifications, Special Terms and Conditions and General Terms Conditions as stated herein. The Purpose and Intent of this Unsealed Invitation for Bid (UIFB) is to establish a firm-fixed delivered unit price requirements contract with one (1) qualified source for the procurement of Sealed Lead Acid Batteries for Prince William County Public Schools, herein referred to as PWCS, in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions stated herein. The following individual shall work directly with the Contractor in scheduling and coordinating work, answering questions in connections with the Scope of Work, and providing general direction under the resulting contract. Proposed cost shall remain firm for the initial term of the contract. WCS reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of PWCS to be in its best interest.
