Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Spirit River, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Work shall include the supply and installation of a new bridge culvert over Spirit River, located 18 km southwest of the town of Spirit River (SE 34-77-7-W6M). The Contractor shall install a 5.23 m diameter SPCSP culvert by 90.22 m invert length as per the Drawings and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culvert will be located 26-degree LHF skew to the local road, centred at Station 5+549.000. The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation Site isolation and turbidity monitoring Fish capture and release Demolition and disposal of bridge structures Excavation, including geotextile filter fabric Supply and assembly of culvert materials Backfill, including backfill material testing Concrete end treatment, including testing and small bridge plaque Heavy rock riprap erosion protection Roadway work Permanent environmental protection devices Documents can be obtained from https://buildworkscanada.com Bid values not disclosed.
