Columbia County hereby requests sealed bids for a unit price contract of 34 window opening replacements installing 67 windows at the Columbia Health Care Center located at 323 W. Monroe Street, Wyocena, WI. Window replacements are for the Willow Court Addition. The purpose of this project is to replace deteriorated, aging, and existing worn windows for the Willow Court at the Columbia County Health Care Center in Wyocena, Wisconsin. For price quoted in relation to this project, contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, taxes, overhead, fuel, subcontractors, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary for fully operational, functional window system(s) in accordance with the Contract Documents, plan drawings (if any), and the manufacturers recommendations The project (Project CL-PF 21-37: CHCC Window Replacement) is funded through a Community Development Block Grant-Public Facilities (CDBG-PF). Federal requirements and certain restrictions apply to this project and are included, referenced, and attached to this document. Davis-Bacon wage rates shall apply for ALL classes of work. Any person with disability requiring special accommodations must contact the County no later than 7 days prior to the mandatory pre-bid meeting or bid opening. In accordance with Wis. Stat. 779.14(e), Bonds are required for the work. 5% Bid Bond shall be delivered with the Bid on the date due. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be executed along with the awarded Contract to the lowest, responsible BIDDER; forms included within the Bid Specifications. Exceptions to this may exist in certain situations where the County purchases materials direct or project costs are within specific thresholds. County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and is not bound to accept any bid if that bid is contrary to the best interest of Columbia County. County will award the bid to the lowest, responsible bidder.
